Really enjoyed working with John and his team. Nearly a perfect experience with two thoughts... I wish the buy/sell experience was more personal. It's a big deal to hand over a home and being on both sides - we've really valued having a relationship with our sellers in the past. We have done non-traditional purchases where this has been allowed and I think the fear of litigation is depriving buyers and sellers to fully enjoy their transactions. There is just too much paperwork. Having recently purchased in NM and sold in Co - it shows how 'over the top' the requirements are on disclosures, forms, etc. Even small things like signing a form that our personal property was part of the sale... which was already in the purchase contract. This also happened in our NM purchase so it's not just firm or state specific, but we'd be a better society to have more of a handshake mindset (in my opinion) than layers of onerous paperwork. I think it would also be nice for a full printed copy of the final closing package to be mailed to buyer and seller or have it as an option vs e-docs only. "I recently worked with John Madron for my purchase of a condo in Keystone. Prior to this purchase, I had been researching the market for quite some time and had compiled an extensive list of requirements for the ideal property.
