Noah grew up on a ranch in rural Routt County, raising chickens and pigs while participating in 4H programs and the County Fair each year. He would occasionally work in his parents’ feed store in Steamboat Springs, where he learned the importance of customer care. He spent much of his winters in Steamboat Springs, skiing in Winter Sports’ Club programs and staying in town with his grandparents, like ranch kids did here a hundred years ago. His love of the outdoors and yearn to travel suggested an adult life that would be spent in pursuit of extreme sports or heavy construction — away from offices and paperwork. Upon graduation from Steamboat Springs High School, he eschewed college in favor of active life experiences. First he lived in New Zealand, working with his cousin briefly in a brewery and then trying his wings as a construction laborer. He returned to Steamboat Springs where he found much in common with a high school crush, Courtnee, before the two of them started a house/pet sitting business, and upon saving some money, headed off to Iceland where they had house/pet sitting jobs lined up for several months.
When they returned to Steamboat Springs, it was with a true appreciation for this community and its people. Noah and Courtnee took jobs with one of the resort-based property management companies and continued with their house/pet sitting business for a small special group of their favorite clients. Noah moved from the resort business and a property-management future back into heavy construction, operating some of the bobcats and track-hoes that literally built the foundations in and around Steamboat Springs.
After a challenging, hot summer of construction work, Noah started to look towards his interest in real estate and began the studies necessary to become a licensed realtor. He agreed to help out some friends by serving as a legal assistant at the local law firm, Klauzer & Tremaine, LLC. Somehow the dread of complicated paperwork began to abate as he started understanding its importance. He found himself studying real estate classes in the evenings and writing up real estate contracts and deeds at the law office during the daytimes. With this opportunity he was able to help people in all aspects of their real estate transactions.
This engaging young man will be glad to regale you with stories of Routt County, and maybe even some personal confessions, as he takes you around to show you the properties that meet your criteria. And, once you have settled on a property, he will assist you with each of the steps needed to complete a purchase deal. Call Noah today and he will help you get started down the path to buying or selling a property.
I would highly recommend Noah to any other real estate buyer or seller. The best you possibly hope for.
We recently worked with Noah to buy a condo in Steamboat Springs and had a great experience working with him. Would recommend.
Noah was very courteous and professional!
Noah Townsend was always professional and was in constant communication with my husband and I, even if there really was no new information. He took the time to just check in and make sure we didn't have questions. He constantly kept us in the loop with marketing trends and took the time to example how the trends affected our listing. He always listened to our needs and what our targets were and professionally provided pros/cons for all our requests. Again, always made sure we understand why and answered all our questions. The support team that helped with our listing were also very helpful and timely in providing us any types of updated documentation needed.
Your team did a great job.
Our realtor (Noah*) and your schedule/documents person Allison were helpful, thorough and attentive. They assisted with every step along the way and covered everything that we needed to have done. [*/ This is a serious and fairly objective review, in spite of the fact that Noah is our grandson.]
Noah simply gets it. He has roots in this community, he understands the world of real estate in Routt County and he goes the extra mile in every regard he can.
Noah Townsend did an excellent and professional job!
We had barely signed a listing agreement when our young broker started working with one of his colleagues to write a contract offer that took very little negotiation to finalize. And we closed within about 6 weeks. Good job!
