In 2023, the GroupGives Yampa Valley made significant strides in our mission to support the local community. Through innovative fundraising events and dedicated outreach programs, the foundation raised substantial funds, enabling us to expand our impact across various causes, from education and healthcare to environmental conservation. We ended 2023 by giving over $30,000 back to 22 non-profit organizations in need. Our most successful and impactful events were the Coat Drive and a Greenhouse Grant given to the Steamboat Montessori. The Coat Drive was held in October where we were able to collect hundreds of coats, get them cleaned and ready for distribution at LiftUp in hopes of keeping our community members warm through the winter. The Greenhouse Grant was given to Steamboat Montessori where students and volunteers will work together to rebuild the greenhouse on campus. The revitalization of the greenhouse will educate those involved on not only the reconstruction of the structure itself but also on how to grow food sustainably.

In 2024, the foundation aims to build upon this success by initiating new collaborative projects, forging stronger partnerships with local non-profit organizations, and enhancing our grant programs to better address the evolving needs of the community. With a steadfast commitment to fostering positive change, GroupGives Yampa Valley looks poised to continue its invaluable contributions towards uplifting Routt County in the coming year.
