The 45-minute performances begin at 10 a.m., making it a perfect mid-morning outing for families, couples, or anyone looking to start their day on a harmonious note. Later that evening, don your cowboy hat and head to the Steamboat Springs Pro Rodeo Series, which holds four consecutive nights of thrilling rodeo action during Roundup Days. Steamboat’s summer soundtrack gets a serious boost with the Stranahan’s Summer Concert Series, a free live music event hosted at the base of the Steamboat Ski Resort in Steamboat Square. With the stunning mountain scenery and festive atmosphere, there’s no better way to wind down your day than dancing under the alpenglow.
The July 4th concert features headliner MarchFourth (M4), a Portland-based, New Orleans-inspired marching band. On July 11th, enjoy the dynamic rhythms of headliner Duane Betts & Palmetto Motel, an American rock and roll band. Rounding out the month on July 25th, headliner Six Million Dollar Band takes the stage, Colorado’s premier 80s dance band specializing in New Wave, 80s synth pop, and rock and roll.

With temporary courts set up right in the square, players of all levels are welcome to participate. Courts are open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. each day, providing plenty of opportunities to play (or cheer from the sidelines).

On Saturday, July 19th, music lovers can catch an electric performance by Grammy-nominated artist Julian Marley, son of reggae legend Bob Marley, with special guests including reggae artist Mighty Mystic. Then, on Thursday, July 31st, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country takes the stage, bringing about a pristine mix of rock, country, and psychedelia, with special guests including Colorado-based rock and reggae band Bonfire Dub.
Bring a blanket or lawn chair, pack a picnic, or enjoy fare from local food trucks, and sip a cold drink under the open sky. Gates typically open at 5:30 p.m., with music finishing around 9-9:15 p.m. The concerts are family-friendly, dog-free, and unforgettable.
