Colorado Group Realty Charitable Foundation Supports Routt County Non-Profits Through Matching Donation Campaign

The Colorado Group Realty Charity Foundation’s Matching Donation Campaign came to a successful close and we are proud to say $22,500 was raised for four local non-profit organizations. Reaching Everyone Preventing Suicide, Steamboat Reading, Steamboat Creates and the Routt County Humane Society will each receive $5,625. CGR agents and generous community members donated $12,500 while the company added a $10,000 donation.“These have certainly been challenging times and I’m sure I speak for the other non-profits on how much this fundraising will help us with our respective missions,” said Elaine Hicks, Executive Director, Routt County Humane Society. “We are so grateful to our community for their support.”

How Funds Raised Through Colorado Group Realty’s Charitable Foundation’s Campaign Are Supporting Four Steamboat Springs Non-Profits

ROUTT COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY: Since March, Routt County Humane Society has taken in 241 animals. They adopted 183 animals and 43 were returned to their owners. The average cost per animal is around $70.

STEAMBOAT READING: “Steamboat Reading is a small nonprofit organization and this donation offers the incredible gift of stability in uncertain times,” said Kim Schultz, Executive Director. It takes $360 per month to provide a scholarship for a child to receive intensive tutoring support.

REACHING EVERYONE PREVENTING SUICIDE “These funds will help to sustain our free therapy and counseling program,” said Mindy Marriot, Executive Director. “We are grateful for this collaborative opportunity to further continue our mission to preserve, protect and promote life.”

STEAMBOAT CREATES: ” We have launched creative ways to help people deal with difficult emotions through intensive workshops in movement, writing, art journaling and sonic arts,” said Dagny McKinley, Development Director. “Colorado Group Realty is dedicated to giving back to the community.The fact that they continue this focus during such uncertain times, is a testament to their kindness, their caring and dedication to supporting local non-profit organizations.”
