Four Seasons Hunting Ranch says it all! Yes, it is excellent for all seasons for recreation, hunting and grazing! The ranch has nearly 7000 deeded acres to its name, plus over 5800 acres of BLM grazing allotment and an additional 640 acre state grazing/recreational lease. The ranch spans over 13,000 acres with 3 excellent year round access points. From the banks of the Yampa River to the dense cedar covered draws this ranch is incredible! As you rise up through the rock outcroppings, the land breaks into several flat benches complimented by several deep cedar draws and fingers. Several old homestead cabins still exist with remnants of corrals showing the historical usage of the ranch. The land ranges in elevations from just over 6000 feet to just under 7000 feet with good usage of the land for all seasons. The ranch boast excellent grass and cover for wildlife and livestock! The Four Seasons Hunting Ranch is located in Colorado’s hunting unit 211 and qualifies for several deer and antelope vouchers. the ranch is over the counter for multiple elk seasons. The are elk on the ranch and on the bordering BLM land through all seasons with more moving in from the east and southeast as the seasons progress and the snow accumulates in the higher elevations. Recreation includes hunting, fishing, rafting, biking, riding UTV’s/ATV’s and much more. The ranch has historically ran sheep and cattle from the early spring through the summer months. In combination with the nearly 7000 acres of deeded lands the ranch is complimented by over 5800 acres of a BLM grazing allotment and a 640 acres state lease for additional grazing. The water to the north is via a developed spring, the Yampa river and another spring located on the BLM grazing allotment. On the south side a newly developed well provides water on the lower flat. As you rise back to the north and northwest an additional well will be drilled in the very near future providing water on the top bench.
